Laboratory tests, imaging and specialist consultations: each test has a specific role.
Blood and urine tests make it possible to explore many parameters: blood count, inflammation, liver function, metabolism, hormones, serology or urinary abnormalities. What is prescribed depends on age, symptoms, medical history and the goals of the assessment.
X-rays and ultrasound can complement the clinical examination when they are justified. They can be used to examine the chest, abdomen, pelvis and certain organs, with further tests possible depending on the results.
