Second medical opinion: a second look before arranging any travel.

Send the information needed to arrange an opinion request, a teleconsultation or a specialist referral.

A patient and a doctor reviewing a medical file together for a second opinion

The Polycrabat Sevamed second medical opinion allows you to have your medical file reviewed by a specialist before you travel. Based in Rabat, Morocco, the coordination team organises the transmission of the file and referral to the appropriate expertise.

How does the request work?

The service is designed so that the file can travel before the patient. The coordination team checks that the request is clear and sufficiently documented before directing it to the appropriate channel.

1. Medical question

Describe the situation, the known diagnosis and the reason for your request.

2. File

Our coordination team organises with you the transmission of the necessary documents.

3. Check

The coordination team may ask for additional information.

4. Referral

Second opinion, teleconsultation or preparation of care.

To begin, describe your medical question and your contact details. You can send the documents afterwards: the form opens your e-mail application and does not send any file automatically.

Documents that may be useful

  • Report from the attending doctor or specialist.
  • Laboratory test results.
  • CT, MRI, PET scan or X-ray report.
  • Imaging files (CD, USB stick or download link provided by your imaging centre), when they can be transmitted.
  • Pathology report.
  • List of treatments and prescriptions.
  • Operative report or report of a previous hospital stay.

What happens next?

Depending on the situation, the next step may be continuing treatment in the home country, a teleconsultation, additional tests or organising a medical stay in Morocco.
