On the occasion of Pink October, the High Representation of the Gabonese Republic to the Kingdom of Morocco joined the mobilisation to raise awareness of women’s cancers and the importance of early screening.
Through this initiative organised in Rabat, an essential message is restated: informing, raising awareness and encouraging early screening are major levers in the fight against breast cancer and other women’s cancers.
A mobilisation around prevention
Every year, Pink October is a key moment dedicated to women’s health. Beyond the symbol of the pink ribbon, the campaign encourages dialogue about cancer, highlights the importance of medical follow-up and promotes a genuine culture of prevention.
The mobilisation organised in Rabat by the Gabonese representation in Morocco also shows the importance given to raising community awareness and improving access to health information.

Screening at the heart of the fight against women’s cancers
Prevention and early diagnosis play a central role in the management of women’s cancers.
Making women aware of the need for regular follow-up and helping them find the appropriate medical facilities improves care pathways and makes it possible to act as early as possible when an abnormality is found.
This approach is in line with the importance Polycrabat Sevamed attaches to medical support, patient guidance and the coordination of care pathways between African countries and healthcare facilities in Morocco.

Strengthening health links between Africa and Morocco
From Rabat, Polycrabat Sevamed supports international patients in their medical arrangements in Morocco, from the review of the medical file and referral to specialists to the organisation and coordination of their care.
Awareness initiatives such as Pink October are a reminder that improving health does not depend solely on treating disease. It also relies on prevention, information, screening and access to an appropriate medical pathway.
Through its commitment to international patients, Polycrabat Sevamed helps strengthen medical links between Morocco and the African continent and facilitates access to coordinated medical care.
